Valve, makers of the popular Half-Life modification Counter-Strike, are being sued by the family of Jay Moorephey. The family claims that his addiction to CS had altered his views on reality.
Witnesses saw Mr. Moorephey pick up a brown leather backpack off the floor at the local YMCA pull out a gun, and ran off into the street. One of the witnesses claimed he heard Jay screaming "I've got the bomb, need backup".
Police were called in and minutes later things turned from bad to worse. With police in pursuit Jay ran into an old friend simply identified as Scott and in the confusion shot Scott in the foot.
Jay was heard saying " omg dude, I'm sorry , I didnt know friendly fire was on here."
Scott was heard to reply, "wtf."
In a final disturbing display Mr. Moorephey stood on a bridge with Police surrounding him. They pleaded with him not to jump for hours, but their pleas fell on deaf ears. Eventually Jay Moorephey jumped to his death.
His final words as recorded by the first officer to reach him were, "What? I don't understand. I don't understand at all. That wasn't supposed to hurt... i landed in this puddle."
