Well today I bit the bullet and did my first window mod. Well to be precise Snipeboy and his toolkit did most of it, but it was fun to help while he tried his best to saw off my fingers.

Anyway, it is a nice rounded shape that is hard to describe but looks kind of like a cross between a number 6 and an upsidedown comma. Well anyway it should look rather spiffy when it's finished but I need to get the black trim and perspex on Friday so fingers crossed I'll post a pic or two then complete with my repositioned homemade rheobus and new cathodes. B)

If not, where exactly are the missing fingers?

cant wait to see it, kudos for not doing a boring square and choosing a new shape that isnt in everyones computer...

Really, i dont have much room to talk... If i did a window, it would be a plain and boring rectangle... but i doubt i'll ever do a window, so it doesnt matter...

Tan and I joined PHF around the same time. I've seen little teasers of K's case but that's about it. He stated that it was a work in progress. I've decided that it's always going to be a work in progress and given up on trying to make him show me it.

OMG I suck.

I got a blue cathode a couple of days ago. Soldered it and mounted it. When it came on only the ends lit and even they were really dim. Tried plugging it in to various locations all to no avail. So took it back to the shop and got a new one. Soldered it and mounted it. Again when it came on only the ends lit. FUCKKSHDHSJKFCUNFUCKTWAT.

Guess what? I had connected the 12v connector to the 5v connector. I suck. >_<

I like it. It has kind of a cartoonish look to it, to me, for some reason, and best of all, its original and more expressive of himself than a simple geometric window (ie, rectangle, triangle, oval, etc etc).

Thanks for the kind compliments and what-not aimed at my shite PC.

If I could be arsed I'd finish all the lighting wiring... But that means turning off my PC. Do you see my dilemma now?!
