So I've been trying to install Ubuntu and Suse 10.1 on a SATA drive and it just won't take. Every time it tries to load the suoth bridge it indefinetly turns the SATA drives on then off.
Any suggestions?

IDK. Try something different, maybe Fedora?

Jutw wiped Suse altogether and went straight Ubuntu. As soon as Suse was gone, everything started working fine.
