Now I consider myself to be a somewhat intelligent young man.
However when it comes these two programs, I feel slightly retarded.
Somebody needs to give me a walkthrough here. This is what I get
for Teamspeak, Now keep in mind, I'm using the username and password
fred sent me in a PM... HELP!!!
BTW: could you guys post up your Xfire names for me?

also, make sure that you have it checked to say "anonymous user" (unless you've registered on the server...if you didn't do that, and put in a username and password, that might keep you from joining too. I see that you put in a name and password, so maybe you have created one. Just to make sure, try logging in one time as an anonymous user (just to see if you can get in). If that works, something must be wrong with the username/password you're using.
I think there have been numerous threads about xfire, but here goes: rawrbq.
(and some others I can think of at the moment):
Tote - thetotenkopf
Beano - beanoed

1) did you try logging in as anonymous?
2) did you put in the right password for the server?

I used the IP address user name and password fred gave me.
Since I (personally) have never registered, I'll just log on as anonymous.
Somebody PM me the current password and I'll attempt to connect when I get home later. I have a mic, so I'll hook that up tonight as well.

hey I might have it here... Now I see that your useing your Local Address book. I've never used it with any success.. I Use the quick connection botton instead.. I fill out the server address, " 66.36.229.166:10903 "
then Nickname: GoodZwell
then Log In name: GoodZwell Says it's "optional" but I always fill it out any ways.. I don't think I can log on with out it actually.
then Password: XXXXXXxXXX
if that doesn't help post again and I'll post some pictures on how I log in. Hope this helps yah.. I've found Teamspeak to be a little qurkie sometimes. I've tried to log in a bunch of times with no success unless I re-entered the proper info... GoodZ Luck.

I use the regular connect...I don't do the quick one. I've gotten the regular one to work.
Make sure you have anonymous checked...and take out the password for the username/password part. That might be why you can't get on. You have it saying you're registered, yet you said you didn't register on the server. Right under "allow server to assign a nickname", click anonymous, and that should let you get on.
Let us know if this works.

Maybe you guys aren't understanding this...
DON'T USE A USERNAME AND PASSWORD. You aren't registered on the server, so you can't use a password. You have to check that you are anonymous, and give a username. If you are given permission to register with the server, then you can click on registered, and put in the username and password.
Rahx, this mostly deals with what you said. He isn't registered, so he doesn't have a username/password registered with the server, so trying to log in with those won't work either way. He has to be an anonymous user.
Tia - don't put in a password. Click on anonymous, make sure that it is clicked on anonymous. Make sure the server and password for the server are correct. *Show us another screenshot of what you're doing, that way we can try to figure out what the current problem is.*
