I think we should sit down collectively/electronically and establish some more rules than we have now.

The server message field that appears while the maps are loading is too small to put many there. It seems to me we have two options

1. We can put the rules on our web page maybe as a subset to the CS rules and put in the server message field "Read our rules at (url of THE)

2 BF2cc I believe will allow us to spam the rules during play Right now it is only spaming our web site. I visited one server that spammed their rules one at a time with a suitable delay between each In the server message field they have "IT IS ALL PLAYERS RESPONSIBILITY TO READ OUR RULES THAT ARE SPAMMED DURING GAMEPLAY"

Right now I believe our only posted rules are; No Bunnyhopping, No vehical whoring, and no delibrate tking

I think we should turn back on the ability to forgive for tks since we can't turnoff the punishment. And next new rules I suggest are:

Do NOT punnish for accidental tks from mines, artillery, or grenades We will kick you if you do so too often

NO Spawn Camping Bases that can't be captured. Only SF's allowed in these bases to destroy enemy assets

Those are some damn good ideas and rules Joe , let's see what we can do to get that message going. One problem though, to allow tk forgive , we have to enable the tk punish by players, not the one done automaticaly by the server and thats one of the most abused problems on all other servers.
We have asked the TH peeps to give us a BF2 section here in our [THE] area but so far , nothing has been done.

Fred, I think the way things are set now you get punished regardless if it was an accident or not. I suspect the only way to avoid this is turn the ability to forgive back on. I frequent many servers and many have rules that say not to punish for accidental tks Some threathen to ban or kick people that punish excessively. One even had a rule that said if you drove over friendly mines twice they would kick you. I think we could turn it back on as long we have a stated policy

Well lets see what fearless leader has to say on this and then act on it
