I have my main computer running XP. I have a laptop running 2000pro. I am trying to get file sharing working. I accidentaly made two networks Musselman and MShome. The laptop is called brachium and the PC is Office. I tried to get the laptop on the MShome but when i put the xp disc in it said that you can only do 98 ME XP not 2000. The laptop can see the PC's network (mshome) but the PC cant see the musselman network. Any help is greatly appreciated. If you need more info post. Here is a picture from the laptop.

Are you running home or pro version of xp? I read something about home version of XP not being able to connect to win 2000 servers or something like that. Don't know if that is your problem but it is a start.

Yep. Same thing hear. XP apparently doesn't like any other OS for networking... I think it is determined by which one is on XP tho.

AAAAh POS thingamabob. Now I cant find the XP computer on the laptop so I also cant play CS over the network. Well actually I can only find one shared folder from the other computer. This is really making me mad. How can I just get rid of all of the networks and stuff and start over.
