XP clicky clicky sound

Has anyone else noticed that a day or so after installing XP that the clicky sound that is made when you open a folder or move between stuff in my computer disappears. Where does it go? is it just me? am I going mad? what is the square root of 121234? :blink:

Lol I didnt think anyone would reply to the square root, but it seems everytime I re-install the clicking noise is gone after a day or so I didnt know if there is an option to turn it off or on or if its just a temporary thing.

Mine clicks on and off. :huh: its wierd. sometimes when i hit a link it clicks sometimes not.

my wind tunnel is on my desk... and i still hear the clickys

Maybe its just the ear muffs I have to wear to protect me from the noise that stops me hearing the clicks.
