Which direction do you think would be best for keeping things nice and cool, air blowing in from the front and then out of the back or in through the back and out the front?
By the way I also have a side pannel fan blowing in onto the pci slots, and the psu sucks a bit out through a fan it has on its underneath.
I have 2 fans on the back and 2 fans at the front the ones at the back are higher than the ones at the front so i think it should probably suck out at the back, just wondering how everyone else has theirs set up.

I don't know how you are 'Supose' to do it, but I have one intake fan on the front, two intake fans blowing on the AGP/PCI slots, and one fan on the back blowing out. And the PSU blows out as well. Its kind of funny b/c when I turn my PC on the air blows out of the sides and all the extra vent holes as well. Mmmm keeps my legs nice and aired

Lol thats what its like for me, I switched my fans round to see if it would make a difference with the air blowing out the front and now i have all the air blowing at my legs.

How about, 2 intake fans in the front, one intake fan on the side, 2 out blowing fans on the back, and 2 out blowing fans on the top? and then the PSU and the CPU fan of course? would that sound good?

That would sound loud.

well saying that your back fans are higher than the front fans, and hot air goes up, well that would mean that the two back fans should probably be shooting air out and the two front fans bringing in air. The side panel should be blowing in towards the expansions slots

Wouldnt you want to be bronging heat off of the vid and pci cards. Blowing air on it dosent seems a helpful.

Well having a side fan blowing on the expansion slots seems to work fine for me, plus with 4 fans total suckin air out (2 on back, 2 on top) then you want to have a fairly close balance of fans blowing air in as well. Plus my hand would get mighty cold if my side fan blew outwards onto my mouse hand lol.
