Good paint job. Overall it looks nice. Only thing I would change is to paint the indented part on the open side panel, black. I think that would look so wickd awesome. I am thinking about painting and modding an old case I have, my K-6 450 MHz, just starting on it though.

nice job, very clean! Missing the mandatory holes that case mods should have </joke>, but I'm sure you'll add them later.
That makes me want to mod my case. But not until I upgrade and get a new PSU, I'm going to get my friend to help me wire everything up. He is a wiring genius, he uses terminal blocks to make all the power cords the exact lengh they need to be to elimnate clutter. It's badass, next time i'm over there i'll try to snag a pic of it. And my other friend paints cars, so guess who's gonna help me paint my case? Oh yes, automotive paint is the BEST for painting cases. It will be SHINY!!!

Deffinately paint the indents. That would really make the 2 colors go together better. Or put a window in the big indent. Or not and be oridgnal. Way to go anyway man.

Cause I'm bored I'd like to say how I did it
I bought 2 cans of white Rustoleum primer, 2 cans of the blue Rustoleum paint, and 2 cans of Rustoleum clear coat. Then I bought a can of Krylon Fusion paint. This stuff is great for anything that has to do with plastic, and gives a very vinyl dye sort of look (it could be vinyl dye, I dont know). So starting about 4 months ago ( I know, motivation is one of my strong traits) I took off the case panels. I originally had plans to do something with an american flag theme last summer, but, again, motivation is key, and I never got up off my ass to do it. So eventually at the end of summer I thought of this and bought the stuff. ANYWAY, I started sanding and didn't know you only needed to get it smooth, not get bare metal (thanks Toxic :) ) so the last 2 panels went really fast, and I applied my first primer coat. As a tip to everyone thats gonna do this, make sure you hold the can like at least 8 inches away, or you'll get the same thing I did, puddles. BAD. But I just sanded it pretty good and moved on. Another thing, do like 4 passes minimum. Like go left to right from top to bottom of panel, then go top to bottom down the side. This gave me the most even coats. So when that was done, I put the first coat of paint on. This one is VERY IMPORTANT to not screw up on. Puddles, ripples, or the dreaded bubbles that don't pop are your mortal enemies. Basically, make the first coat like a sprinkle of paint dust. Then do some heavier coats until you have about 3. Then wait 2 days and do it again. This gave me such great results that i didnt even put any clear coat on it. You might want to though. Then I bought some automobile rubbing compound and some cheesecloth. You're gonna want to do this at least 4 - 5 times vigorously, it makes the paint that much smoother and better looking. After that just take some car wax (I used Turtle Wax) and apply it as directed. Then all you have to do is put the panels on and type up a long forum post like this ;) .
Some side notes, for the paint and primer just go by the directions on the can, usually it wil say to do 2 light coats then do 2 more within an hour, but it really doesn't matter as long as its dry to the touch (and the same paint, not primer to color). But for sanding between you're gonna want at least a day or 2 in most cases. Also, when taking off bezel covers on your optical drives, make sure you take off all of them so you don't have to do the floppy drive one 3 days before its all supposed to be done. Lastly, with the Krylon Fusion, you don't need to sand the bezel covers, cause it will sink right in to the plasic, even the ridges that the sandpaper made.
Next up on the list of mods is a 92mm blowhole on top, 120mm on side along with large window, and a mobo that will allow overclocking so the cooling will be of use  .

Wow, That more work than I put into getting lai- er, I mean... um, n/m
Basically, I'm lazy so I'll never have a spiffy mod that takes that much time, motivation, work, whatever. I will say that your hard work payed off, it looks AWESOME. Now get a dremel and cut that sucka!

Nix the dremel and use a drill and hole saw, you'll get much better results. Afterwards take a deburring knife around the rough edges and trim off the sharp stuff (duh). Enjoy your mod, like I already said, it looks great.
