Ok well over at bit-tech.net there is a guy named Zap. He is by far the best modder I have ever seen. Ever. He has a computer made out of an ammo box. The only thing you can do is to read the log. here (http://forums.bit-tech.net/showthread.php?s=&threadid=36192&perpage=20&pagenumber=1) Also he has another mediapc computer that is just amazing. There is a link in his sig. Just check it out.

Just his attitude occasionally, mainly in the Mods forum (ie. Moderators, not Modding).

j/k, lame joke!
I want to get into modding of that level, rather than just windows and blowholes. Im infatuated with the mini-itx boards and the micro atx stuff, and the potential for putting them in non-computer like things! such as, a computer in an old acoustic guitar, etc etc... im just not creative enough to figure out what to put it in!

Hmmm well what do you use it for?
fileserver--- a box?
web surfing--- the bottom of a fish tank?
Donno the only real use I have for any thing under 800mhz is a file server/download manager/internet pc.

How about a bookcase? You could use the ends of old books to cover up the components and stuff. Might make a good stealth mod.

You could use a multi drawer tol box, use the top for a monitor, one of the deep drawers for housing the actual compenants, the smaller drawers for the CD-ROM and such, lastly another drawer for the keyboard and mouse. This will give you a completly stealthed computer.
P.S. You might have to put the mobo and such in the top part for enough space.

Hey folks, if you want to see this project on TV, then watch The Screen Savers, on TechTV, on Thursday the 25th.
Then after the show visit:
http://www.techtv.com/screensavers
and vote for my project.
http://www.zapwizard.com/LANPC/HighRes/All-Night-SML.jpg
A few reasons to vote if you want:
-My PC is the ONLY one with a AMD processor
-My PC is the only gaming system, the compotition have systems with 1ghz or less inside them, making them great art, but hardly a computer system.
-My PC was built entirly by hand with no special tools besides a dremel, and all using funding out of my own pocket.
-I also didn't just mount electrical parts in cool ways, but modified their circuits and customized the electronics to serve me, rather then just look cool.
-Heck..because it DOES look cool.

I have a couple of those cartirdge case boxes lying around. What exactly did you do with the snap top and bottom, or is that how the case opens? I'd mod one myself, but I suck with the dremel.

This once again confirms that I indeed will have to go through some hell to create my ultimate ubermod some years in the future. Either that or I won't care and just buy one.
