HI PEOPLE!!!!! [THE]Bassmaster (w00t) "Look ma, I made it!!!!!"
I suppose I will just post this here for all to gaze upon. I would like to say first thank you so very much for voting me into [THE] family. I thought it best to post a lil info bout myself so you might look down your nose at me and pass judgment. :lol:
Name Bassmaster: pronounced B ASS MASTER (not BASE MASTER) although I play guitar, I am referring to the fishey. I fish. Allot. I fish allot. About 100 times a year. I have kept a log for the trips this year with digital pics from each one. I’m in the low 50's as far as trips to date.
I’m sick crazy about fishing. I fish for freshwater as well as saltwater. Living 1-1/2 hours from the Jersey coastline affords me this. This weekend I will be driving 6+ hours to NY to fish the 1000 islands. Its 1000 islands in a river on the border with Canada. I have a hotel room with a boat slip, which will hold my bass boat while im there. Im so looking forward to the drive. 400 miles in my wrangler with my top down doors off. Driving through back woods local yocal mammoth hillsides with deep forests, I can smell the air.. OMG nothing like pure wilderness air... MMMM I would love to slam a big'ol 8 pointer and quarter him toss the meat in the cooler.... Bar-B-Que on the river BABY!!!!!!! Oh, and no kids on this trip... I have 3 of them, and im leaving them home with the baby making machine (whom I love dearly).
So if it isn’t obvious im a freaking redneck. One that lives on the outskirts of Philadelphia..haha When im not fishing im hunting. And when im not hunting im building cars. When im not building cars im shooting. It goes on like this for a while, but insert basically anything redneck in style.
Well, im 29. OH GOD THE DREADED 30 IS ONLY 5 MONTHS AWAY..PLEASE TAKE IT AWAY!!!!!!!!! My occupation is an Engineer. Im here to tell you don’t have to spell good to be an engineer. Smart yes, good looking yes... spelling, no. (w00t)
Im a mechanical engineer to be more precise. I design HVAC, plumbing and fire protection (sprinkler) systems for buildings. Hmmm, interesting projects.... I designed a Brew Pub at the Chicago Arena where the Black Hawks play, Brew pub at the FU center here in PA where the FLYERS play. Tomorrow I have a meeting for a job I designed in Ocean City NJ. I will be walking contractors around the project site going over questions they have about biding for the job. Sucks for me... I will be doing this in the boardwalk smelling salt air listening to the gulls... work sux HAHAHAHA :blink:
Mostly I design schools and hospitals. At my work the engineers are also the draftsmen so im proficient in computer drafting. We run Macintosh (yuk). I have a G4 1000 mgz with OSX. Sucks monkey but whatever. Im also the network Engineer so I manage a cross platform which integrates Windows and Macintosh on one LAN. Just means I make more money.... Money is always more gooder. Once in a while I will build a PC for additional work spaces.
If you haven’t figured it out im completely psycho... :P I never shut up. Sometimes I think I just like to hear myself talk, and while im sure that’s true, I really enjoy good conversations with a hint of complete cs domination thrown in. I realize I talk allot, but I wont change for anyone so join me or mute me... dun matter to me! Im also kind of aggressive and I don’t take to being threatened or talked down to.
I was originally in USA with many of THE members. I actually recruited many of them including Totey. HAHA I went on to HoD with Blues whom I also recruited into USA after realizing the Leader of USA was a complete Dick. I was a leader of HoD. I was also a match leader and organized most of the matches in the leagues we were in. While in HoD we practiced and scrimed almost every night.
I left HoD on bad terms... I don’t not wish to discuss them either.
I stopped playing cs for a month or so and decided to play a little for fun. I got invites into a couple of clans which got what I thought were dead feelings back flowing again. I am serious into match play. The adrenalin rush is like no other cs feeling when playing in a match. I was looking into some league playing teams, but the personalities were that of ice blocks.
I was looking through HoD website for server addys and I found THE's. I had played here before , GB and B-Dog and so on were in USA/HoD so I came in once or twice to see them. Well, I will tell you had it not been for Icewolf I would have prolly just kept on looking at servers. But goddamn hes a good guy so I kept coming around. Hooked up with Voo who will be my next best cs bud.
Now, funny things.. I started getting yelled at. Digger yelled at me for cursing. Goodz I think got mad at me several times for blowing his head off... good stuff I tell ya!!!! (w00t)
So one day Totey says something to me about being adopted into the family. Well, I thought about it for a while. You see, I can play here if I don’t have THE tag on and still have friends, but in the end I suppose I like belonging. Belonging to THE means having a CS family. I think I missed having a cs family. Totey says "You decided?" and I accepted.
Im very interested in match play. I am going to work with Voo to help put together match schtuff.
Okay so my fingers hurt very much now, and I need some cs.... so
