LEDs?

Well since I've modded my case, it now has a bright blue light in it, and the green and orange LEDs in the front were annoying me and they looked stupid, so I mooched some blue LEDs from my friend.

Well, I got them in there and I hit the power switch and for some reason the hdd LED was brighter than the power LED. I tried switching them and this didnt change anything either. Is this supposed to be happening? The LEDs are exactly the same and the hdd is always brighter.

Anyone have a clue?

Sometimes different LEDs get more or less power, depends on the mobo. Look it up and see how much juice your mobo is provided. On personal preference I'd rather have a brighter HDD lighter than a power LED, my two cents.

Well, after watching my HD LED, it does seem brighter than my power LED. Seeing as how your HD LED isn't on most of the time, I woldn't worry about it.

Yeah. It kinda freaks me out sometimes when im just listening to music and talking on the boards, whenever my hard drive does something theres a big bright flash of blue from the other side of the room. :ph34r:
